As we near the close of the unforgettable year of 2020, we are pleased to share some positive news and exciting updates for the year ahead.

Despite the obvious pandemic-related challenges, we welcomed 42 new Chamber members over the past 12 months. We have been — and will continue to be — a trusted resource for members and an advocate for our local business community. 

Related to our Chamber team and board leadership, please note some changes for 2021.

Cynthia Post Mitchell will complete her 2-year term as Board President at the end of December. She will pass the torch to incoming Board President, Dawn Wiringer Vandermeid, in January 2021. Dawn has been involved with the Chamber since 2016 and will bring positive energy and passion as our incoming Board President. Please join us in thanking Cynthia for her tireless work and commitment, and be sure to welcome Dawn into her new role. Dawn will be announcing her slate of 2021 Board Officers in an upcoming email.

Jenny Hetro will complete her year as the Chamber’s Executive Director at the end of December. We are grateful to Jenny for her service during this past year and are confident that the Chamber is positioned for success, in part, due to her contributions.

Rita Molino has joined the Back Mountain Chamber as its Office Coordinator. Rita has experience with non-profits, event planning, office management and organizational support.
