Tell us about your business, your locations, your team and your customers:
GEOS Communications a group of radio stations in Northeastern Pennsylvania — WGMF/WZMF/WGMF-FM — collectively known as GEM 104. Our AM and FM signals reach Lackawanna, Luzerne, Sullivan, Susquehanna, and Wyoming counties — everything you see in the blue circle (coverage map) below.
 

 
We are a local, family-owned business playing hits of the ’60S, ’70s and ’80s as well as specialty programming on the weekends like The Magical Mystery Tour, a 2-hour program of Beatles music, Casey Kasem’s American Top 40 programs from the ’70s and ’80s, Sinatra and Friends and the Polka Connection. 

GEM 104 covers a large portion of Northeastern Pennsylvania and can be found on the following frequencies.
104.5 FM — Scranton / Lackawanna County
104.3 FM — Tunkhannock / Wyoming and Susquehanna Counties
103.9 FM — Dushore / Sullivan County
101.7 FM — The Abingtons
99.5 FM — Hazleton
92.5 FM — Wilkes-Barre / Luzerne County

We are now offering digital advertising as well...so not only can our customers reach their customers by advertising on the radio, they can also serve ads to popular websites, streaming services and social media sites. 
 
What do you think makes GEM 104 stand out?  
All of our personalities on our radio station have been on our station for years wth decades of broadcasting experience. People feel like they know our team because they’ve been listening to them for so long! We really try to get to know our advertisers and develop custom packages that make sense for their business goals, timeline and budget. We are a family-owned and operated business and relationships are very important to us.

How does being a member of the Back Mountain Chamber help your business?

Is there something you specifically want people to know about GEM 104? 
We are here to help! Under normal circumstances, we broadcast live from many of our area’s annual events like fairs, grand openings, etc. We help get the word out and we have fun doing it!
